Insurance Commissioner Names Counsel for Georgia Counterpart as New Chief of Staff

The legal counsel for the Georgia Office of Insurance and Safety fire commissioner has been named chief of staff for the Florida Office of Insurance Regulation, effective Monday. Michael Yaworsky’s prior role was to advise the Georgia commissioner and senior staff on policy decisions, and to perform administrative, regulatory and litigation duties through the agency’s legal unit.
