Two labor-standards programs are aiming to ensure that construction workers in two Texas cities are treated fairly, paid fairly and provided workers' compensation coverage.
The executive director of the Construction Career Collaborative told the Texas Tribune that by setting standards to ensure worker safety, the so-called C3 organization hopes to boost the reputation of companies that abide by those standards.
