Aggregate Employer Assessments Drop 3.8% for 2015

California employers will pay $16 million less in assessments in 2015 than they did this year, a 3.8% reduction, according to notices sent to workers' compensation carriers and self-insured employers. The total amount the Department of Industrial Relations needs for the six employer-funded accounts, including the Workers' Compensation Administration Revolving Fund, is $740.6 million. That's $61.6 million more than the $679 million the agency needed last year.
