A steamroller driver who was hit by a tractor-trailer won affirmation of a trial court's $332,782 award from his ensuing negligence suit, after already receiving $117,218 in workers' compensation benefits.The North Carolina Court of Appeals affirmed a trial court decision that granted a construction worker an award and denied his employer's request for a $55,000 reimbursement for its steamroller.
