A group of occupational medicine doctors is making progress on its proposal for a revised system of medical billing rules that they say will improve care for injured workers and provide more appropriate reimbursement for physicians treating them.
The proposal comes from an American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine task force on “coding quality care in workers’ compensation.”
