Alleged Double-Dipper and Bogus Insurance Producer Among Fraud Busts in June

A claimant who allegedly worked several side jobs while collecting temporary disability benefits, and an insurance agent who is suspected of forging a certificate of insurance coverage were among those charged with insurance fraud in June, according to the monthly newsletter of the Pennsylvania Insurance Fraud Prevention Authority. The Delaware County District Attorney’s Office on June 12 charged 34-year-old Christopher J. Piselli, of Norwood, with insurance fraud and theft by deception.
