The Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development plans to hold a public hearing March 8 on rule changes that would require vocational rehabilitation counselors to serve people with the most significant disabilities first when there are insufficient resources to serve all who are eligible.
The affected rules fall under Chapter 65 of Wisconsin’s statutes.
Changes would require the DWD to notify people waiting to receive vocational rehabilitation services of their place on the wait list and give them information on how to appeal their placement.
