Montana State Fund announced Monday that it is returning $180,000 in premiums to members of its Small Business Workers' Compensation Group.
The MSBG program was created in July 2010 as a result of Senate Bill 192, passed by the state Legislature the year before. Members are required to have a written safety plan in effect for at least one year before joining the program, have no loss history for a three-year period, have been insured by Montana State Fund for three continuous years, are not experience-rated and have annual premiums of less than $10,000.
