The California Division of Workers’ Compensation adopted changes to the formulary drugs that can be used for treating eye disorders.
The division on Tuesday posted an order to its website updating the formulary drug list in the Medical Treatment Utilization Schedule, effective May 15.
The changes add and delete drugs for the treatment of eye disorders to coordinate with an updated Eye Disorders Guidelines published by the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine.
