Tree Service Owner Admits Defrauding State Out of $22,000 in Premiums

A tree service company in Medina County has pleaded guilty to workers’ compensation fraud and owes the Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation $22,000 in back premiums. Robert D. Matusiak canceled his policy with the bureau in 2004 but continued to operate his business, Rob’s Tree Service, in Brunswick, investigators said.
