DWC Updates FAQs for Physician-Dispensed Medical Equipment

Durable medical equipment is not covered by California’s Physician and Non-Physician Practitioner’s Fee Schedule, but a doctor can bill and be reimbursed for dispensing hardware to injured workers, the Division of Workers’ Compensation said.
