A Texas appellate court overturned $9,000 in contempt sanctions ordered by an El Paso judge against Wal-Mart Stores for allegedly failing to timely respond to a claimant's discovery request, but upheld the judge's order that Wal-Mart pay $11,550 in attorney fees.
