Guarantee Scores Court Victory but Still Under Supervision in Florida

A carrier that is forbidden from writing new workers’ compensation business in Florida due to financial issues scored a victory Friday when two federal judges upheld a $1.3 million judgment against one of its policyholders. Sullivan’s Administrative Managers must pay Guarantee Insurance Co. $1,376,537.35, plus interest, to atone for its alleged underpayment of premiums on four workers’ compensation policies.
