DWC Updates Ambulance Section of Fee Schedule

The California Division of Workers' Compensation adopted an order adjusting the ambulance services section of the Official Medical Fee Schedule to conform to changes in the Medicare payment system. The U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services adopted a 1.5% inflation factor for ambulance services provided in 2015.  Under the division's order, the 1.5% inflation factor will be incorporated into the OMFS for ambulance services provided on or after Jan. 15.
