VICA to Hold Educational Luncheon on Genetics, Prescription Drugs

The Valley Industrial Claims Association of Sacramento will host a presentation by Jeff Donofrio of AccuScript Genetics at this month's educational luncheon, to be held Aug. 9. Donofrio's talk, "The Right Drug and the Right Dose at the Right Time," will begin at 11:30 a.m. at the Marriott Hotel in Rancho Cordova. The luncheon goes until 1:30 p.m. AccuScript Genetics is a pharmacogenetics company, meaning it studies how a patient will react to a prescription drug based on his or her genetic makeup.
