State Fund Has Consolidation Plan in Motion

By Greg Griggs, EditorThe first of the relocations by the State Compensation Insurance Fund will begin as early as the first quarter of 2011.In previously announced closures of State Fund locations in the state, an office in the City of Commerce where 109 people work and a San Bernardino location with 160 workers will be shut and the workers will be relocated by March 31. Employees in Commerce are being transferred to Santa Ana; those in San Bernardino will mostly go to nearby offices in Riverside, with some being sent to Santa Ana.Before then, a small legal office was recently shut in Pomona ...
