Loss costs for Pennsylvania workers' compensation rates will drop an average of 0.9% on April 1, a decrease prodded in part by legislative action to rein in the cost of repackaged drugs.
The Pennsylvania Compensation Rating Bureau recommended that change on Dec. 8, along with housekeeping revisions to the PCRB's Manual of Rules, Classifications and Rating Values. Insurance Commissioner Teresa Miller approved both recommendations earlier this month, the bureau said.
