Medical costs per workers’ compensation claim in Indiana decreased for the first time in more than a decade in 2015, the Workers Compensation Research Institute’s CompScope Medical Benchmarks for Indiana report shows.
WCRI released a statement summarizing the study’s findings on Thursday, one day after the National Council on Compensation Insurance released a report indicating that a claim’s average medical cost fell 1% nationwide in 2015.
