The Texas Division of Workers’ Compensation on Friday released proposed rules that will strip accredited rehabilitation facilities from preauthorization by employers and insurers, and reduce fees for services.
The division posted the rule online as an informal working draft to solicit stakeholder comments before beginning the formal rule-making process. It will take comments on the draft amendments to Texas Administrative Code 134.600 until Feb. 2.
