A veteran Miami judge has failed to secure the backing of the statewide judicial nominating commission for judges of compensation claims for another four-year term.
The commission voted to recommend the reappointment of Judges Wilbur Anderson, Diane Beck, M. Renee Hill, Margret Kerr, Daniel Lewis, Mark Massey, Stephen Rosen and Thomas Sculco, but not Judge Gerardo Castiello.
This effectively means that Castiello will lose his job when his term expires in April.
