AG, Senator Concerned About Workers' Exposure to Chemical Vapors

Washington Attorney General Bob Ferguson and U.S. Sen. Ron Wyden, D-Oregon, joined in Richland, Wash., on Thursday to voice their concerns over repeated exposure of workers to tank vapors at the Hanford Nuclear Reservation. Ferguson and Wyden also met with affected Hanford workers Thursday afternoon. In September, Ferguson filed a lawsuit against the U.S. Department of Energy and its contractor, Washington River Protection Solutions, alleging that hazardous tank vapors at the Hanford Nuclear Reservation pose a serious risk to workers at the site.
