A former New York postal worker has been charged with collecting more than $160,000 in benefits over 17 years, all while working at a flea market after stating that he was totally disabled.
Joseph Penatello, 64, a former driver for the U.S. Postal Service in Brooklyn, now faces up to five years in prison if convicted, according to a bulletin from the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of New York.
