Montana’s Labor Management Advisory Council will discuss possible 2019 legislation for a state workplace safety plan.
The council said in a statement that it will discuss enabling legislation for a state-run program that replicates the responsibilities of the federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
Anne Soiza, assistant director for the Washington state Department of Labor & Industries Division of Occupational Safety and Health, will also be on hand to provide general information regarding enabling legislation.
