A New Jersey alumninum manufacturer has been cited again by the federal workplace safety agency, and this time the government wants more than $1.9 million in penalties.
Officials from the U.S. Department of Labor's Occupational Safety and Health Administration inspected Aluminum Shapes, LLC in Delair on Jan. 23. Last week, the agency cited the company for 51 violations of workplace health and safety standards.
Before this year, the company had already been cited for 60 violations and assessed $516,753 in penalties.
