Telemedicine Bill Advances Past Committee

A bill that would urge insurers, including those that write workers’ compensation, to cover services provided through telehealth passed the Senate Banking and Insurance Committee by an 11-0 vote Tuesday. Senate Bill 280, sponsored by Sen. Aaron Bean, R-Jacksonville, has not yet been referred to another committee.
