DWC Offers Training on Electronic Submission of Settlements

The Kentucky Department of Workers' Claims will begin accepting electronic submission of settlement agreements Sept. 5, and will offer a webinar training session on the web-based filing system next month.

Electronic submission of settlement agreements will become mandatory on Jan. 1, 2019, so the department is encouraging stakeholders and staff to tune in to the webinar, the department announced this week.

The litigation management system, known as LMS, is a web-based application that allows stakeholders to file and manage claims. It offers access to forms and allows group distribution of documents.
