BWC Looks to Review Rules on PPD Application Procedures

The Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation has posted a notice of intent to review three rules on claim procedures.  The rules would implement the provisions of House Bill 27, which went into effect Sept. 29. The legislation addressed the backlog of permanent-partial disability benefit applications that had developed at BWC by changing some procedures around filing the form.  Modifications to Rules 4123-3-15, 4123-3-32 and 4123-3-15.1 would set the changes into motion.  BWC has submitted the rules for recommendation by a state task force run by Lt.
