Lawmakers Approve Murphy's Changes to COLA Bill for Survivors

New Jersey lawmakers wasted little time in agreeing to Gov. Phil Murphy's conditional veto recommendations that a cost-of-living adjustment for public safety worker benefits apply only to death benefits. After Murphy vetoed Senate Bill 1967 last month, the state Senate voted 33-1 to concur with the governor's recommendations.
