Brennan to Replace Retiring Schwartz as Guy Carpenter Gen. Counsel

Marsh & McLennan Cos. announced Friday that Melvin A. Schwarz will retire as general counsel of Guy Carpenter, the company’s reinsurance subsidiary, at the end of this year. Katherine J. Brennan will replace him. Brennan will become a member of Guy Carpenter’s Board of Managers and Global Operating Committee, effective Jan. 1, the company said. She will report to Peter J.
