Excavation and Plumbing Business Cited Again for Trench Hazard Violations

An excavation company in Elgin, Ill., has been cited with one willful safety violation for allowing its employees to work in an unprotected trench once again, the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration announced on Friday. Kellenberger Plumbing & Underground received a visit from the workplace safety agency after getting a complaint call two workers removing a sewer line in an 8-feet-deep trench in Naperville.
