A woman who was collecting workers' compensation benefits while working for the California Department of Motor Vehicles was arrested on Sept. 16 for felony insurance fraud, according to a press release issued on Wednesday by the Department of Insurance.Mia Rachel Brown, 26, injured her left knee and left hand in a slip-and-fall injury in October 2009 when she was an employee of Dean Foods.Brown said during a sworn deposition she had not worked since Nov. 16, 2009, when she reportedly suffered another slip-and-fall accident.
