BWC to Hold Hearing on Voc Rehab Rule Changes

The Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation will hold a public hearing Jan. 8 on proposed changes to rules governing vocational rehabilitation services. The changes are the result of the agency's statutorily required five-year rule review. The changes to Ohio Administrative Code 4123-18, posted on the Ohio Register website, would require managed care organizations to provide vocational rehabilitation management to injured workers, under the state's health partnership program.
