A federal trial court judge is debating whether a jury should hear the claims of a group of former professional football players regarding their alleged injuries from overuse of pain medication during their careers. The lawsuit was filed as a class action by Etopia Evans more than two years ago. Evans is the widow of Charles Evans, a former fullback for the Minnesota Vikings and the Baltimore Ravens.
