Commission Votes to Re-Terminate Employees

The Oklahoma Workers’ Compensation Commission on Thursday re-approved a number of items it previously approved at disputed closed-door meetings and voted to re-terminate six of the 16 employees it previously terminated early last month, according to The Oklahoman. Previous executive sessions and a nonpublic meeting with a potential vendor were found by the Attorney General’s Office to be in violation of the state Open Meeting Act, and action items voted on in those executive sessions were invalidated as a result.
