The Ohio Supreme Court last week reprimanded a Columbus-area attorney for his improper billing practices related to a client who had committed workers' compensation fraud.
The client was a doctor who pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor count of comp fraud. The doctor had retained the services of attorney William Martin Midian in September 2013 to mitigate the effect of the fraud conviction and stay pending misconduct charges by the State Medical Board of Ohio.
