Landon Lackey left Tennessee’s Department of Labor just in time to work, in some ways, against a new system that he helped implement.
Lackey, who spent two years as the department’s benefit review director until last April, joined the Rocky McElhaney Law Firm in Nashville on Tuesday. After a total of six years at the Department of Labor, Lackey is now assuming a new role as an advocate for injured workers just two months after Tennessee’s new administrative workers’ compensation system took effect.
