The Wyoming Department of Workforce Services has proposed rules that would eliminate a cap on the extended temporary total disability benefit that can be awarded to injured workers who already received 24 months of benefits.
The department’s Workers’ Compensation Division has discretion to award additional TTD benefits to injured workers who remain totally disabled due solely to a work-related injury and have not recovered enough to return to work, or who don't qualify for partial disability benefits.
