Ametros CEO to Discuss Creative Settlements at CCWC Conference

Marques Torbert, chief executive officer for Ametros, will participate in a panel discussion about creative settlement techniques during the California Coalition on Workers’ Compensation’s annual Conference, Legislative and Educational Forum next month.

Torbert will join John Pinto of Arcadia Settlements Group, Jake Reason of EK Health and Kim Wiswell of MedVal to discuss ways to use Medicare set-asides to facilitate settlements. The panel discussion will also explore how structured settlements can be used to minimize medical expenses.

The settlement session is at 2:35 p.m. on July 12.

The California Coalition on Workers’ Compensation’s 16th annual Conference, Legislative and Educational Forum runs from July 11 through July 13 at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa in Anaheim.
