A House bill that would mandate adoption of the Official Disability Guidelines drug formulary is scheduled for a floor debate Thursday.
HB 592, sponsored by Rep. Kirk Talbot, R-River Ridge, is aimed at curbing the state’s opioid crisis.
The proposed formulary would go into effect by Jan. 1 for all claims with dates of injury after then. For claims prior to Jan. 1, the formulary would be used for all refills and new prescriptions dispensed for outpatient use on and after July 1, 2018.
