WCS Sets Billing, Claims Process Training

The state Division of Industrial Relations’ Workers’ Comp Section is offering two medical training sessions Wednesday.

A course on the C-4 claims process and using the coverage verification service is scheduled for 9-11:30 a.m. The class will review the process for verifying workers’ compensation insurance coverage and using available tools to speed the process.

A session from 1:30-4 p.m. will address medical billing issues. Claims administrators, payers, health care providers and their staff are encouraged to attend.

The classes will take place in Las Vegas at the Department of Business and Industry office, 3300 W. Sahara Ave., fourth floor, Tahoe Room.

The classes will also be available via video conference in Carson City at the DIR building, 400 W. King St., fourth floor, workers' compensation conference room.
