A handful of worker advocacy groups in Colorado are calling on incoming Gov.-elect Jared Polis to select leadership for the Department of Labor and Employment who will “modernize the agency” and embrace reforms.
The five groups identified five changes they say need to be made at the labor department, including:
Adopting a strategic enforcement program targeting employers that retaliate against immigrant workers.
