NCCI Recommends 7.6% Reduction in Voluntary Rate

The National Council on Compensation Insurance has recommended a 7.6% decrease for the Kansas voluntary market and a 5.8% decrease for the assigned risk market, the state Department of Insurance announced Monday. Insurance Commissioner Ken Selzer said in a press release that if approved by his department, the recommended decrease will mark a cumulative 39% reduction since 2015.
