Advisers Say New Drug Formulary Will Reduce System Costs by Nearly 3%

The implementation of a drug formulary this year will save 2.7% in overall system costs, the Tennessee Advisory Council on Workers’ Compensation states in its annual report. Additional savings are possible through the creation of medical treatment guidelines, says the newly released report, which covers July 1, 2015, to June 30, 2016.
