Board Revokes Doctor's Authorization After Felony Conviction

The New York State Workers’ Compensation Board has revoked a doctor’s authorization to treat injured workers after the State Board of Professional Medical Conduct revoked her license. Dr. Jeanine Santiago of Fishkill was barred from the state workers’ comp system effective Oct. 13, the board said in a bulletin on Monday. The board had temporarily suspended Santiago’s authorization on May 27. It said any reports she submitted before that date are valid, but any subsequent reports are not.
