KEMI Gives Direction to Schools Seeking Coverage after Trust Failure

School districts that lost workers' compensation coverage because of the failure of the Kentucky School Board Insurance Trust may apply for coverage from Kentucky Employers' Mutual Insurance starting on March 1 for policy effective dates of July 1, KEMI said on its website.The state-chartered insurer said applications for coverage should be submitted no later than May 15.Submissions must include a fully completed Acord 130 application, a minimum of five years of currently valued loss runs, the last three completed payroll audits and any additional information requested by underwriters....
