A New York insurance broker has accused the Spring Valley village board and Mayor Alan Simon of refusing to consider his offer to provide insurance services.
Leonard Binder of the Binder Agency in Spring Valley said he was excluded from the bidding for the village’s insurance contract, even though the mayor had invited him to bid this year, news site lohud.com reported.
Instead, Binder has alleged, the board held a meeting without telling him and awarded the multi-million dollar contract to the Bauer-Crowley Agency last month.
