Injured Worker Urges Governor to Make WCAB Appointments

An injured worker who says he has been waiting eight months for a decision in his case asked California Gov. Jerry Brown to quickly fill vacancies on the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board. The board, which is supposed to have seven commissioners, has operated with just five since April 2016 when chairwoman Ronnie Caplane retired.
