The South Carolina Workers’ Compensation Commission will conduct a public hearing on Jan. 5 on proposed changes to Chapter 67 of its regulations.
The hearing will take place at 10:30 a.m. in Hearing Room A, Workers’ Compensation Commission, 1333 Main St., Columbia.
The commission is proposing several changes to Chapter 67 in response to the Supreme Court's April 2015 decision in Rhame v. Charleston County School District. The court ruled that the 30-day filing period for appeals from panel decisions must be extended while a petition for rehearing is pending.
