Attorney Anne Talbot Brennan Dies of Colon Cancer

Anne Talbot Brennan, an attorney who represented insurers in workers' comp and other issues, died Saturday from colon cancer. She was 50.Brennan was a partner at Whitford, Taylor & Preston in Baltimore. During the final years of her life, she became an advocate for cancer victims, raising money for the Johns Hopkins Colon Cancer Center and the Colon Cancer Alliance.Brennan had been managing partner from 2002 to 2006 of the law firm's office in Towson, Md., where she had spent most of her career, according to an obituary published Wednesday by the Baltimore Sun.
