It might be baby steps for North Carolina's move toward adoption of a statewide workers' compensation drug formulary, but that could lead to a bigger leap at the end.
The state Industrial Commission on Friday released a report to state lawmakers that recommends North Carolina go slow on formulary adoption, but also consider coupling it with adoption of medical treatment guidelines.
